Daniel Isn't Real (2019)★★★★☆

This was a weird movie, but everyone in it was so good, and the story was more interesting and original than I was anticipating!

I’m having a really tiring week, so I apologize for not having too much to say here…but I will say that the “nepo babies” do their families justice in this?

It gets a bit violent and graphic, but not overly so, and it’s been a long time since I’ve seen Mary Stuart Masterson in anything, so that was also a pleasant surprise.

It’s not super short, but it doesn’t drag on, and even though parts of it are completely expected, I was still genuinely impressed with the execution of it all. I’d recommend this to horror fans pretty much across the board.
