Dead Awake (2016)★★★☆☆

Okay, I don’t know if I’m just feeling impatient this year or what, but I feel like I have mentioned “slow” on so many movies already. And I’m going to do it again, because this movie was slow.

The story was great - compelling, with just the right amount of “science or supernatural”. The acting was fine - I really like Jesse Bradford!

But it was slow-moving, meaning even the scary moments dragged on in parts. Still much better than yesterday’s movie! But mostly just fine.
