Demonic (2015)★★★★☆

I mostly liked this one. It’s well acted (I like Maria Bello and Frank Grillo – and that their names are kind of similar) and definitely creepy (though that could just be the abandoned house again).

But the weird format with the messy timeline and shaky camerawork gets distracting instead of interesting, and the twist was made a bit obvious too early on for the reveal to be all that revealing.

I don’t have too much to say about this one except that the movie magic technology gets kind of over-the-top silly at times. And the plot itself doesn’t really make much sense if you think about it too much.

So watch this, and be reasonably entertained. Just don’t think about it too much.
