Eden Lake (2008)★★★☆☆

Y’know, I tried reeeeeeeally hard to avoid it, but this movie is fine. It’s just fine.

In some ways, it’s similar to Funny Games…especially because it’s also hard to watch. But it’s missing something that Funny Games has, and I’m not totally sure what. Maybe Michael Pitt?

So it’s not as watchable, but it’s fine. Michael Fassbender and Kelly Reilly are both great, delivering excellent performances. ALL the kids are pretty great, too.

But… really really spoiler alert, here maybe don’t watch it if you’re a serious dog lover.
