Evil Dead II (1987)★★★★☆

Ah, here’s an Evil Dead movie I can really get behind. I mentioned way back when that I wasn’t a huge fan of the original, but I liked the others, and watching this again today…yeah, that’s still true.

Look, it’s not scary. It’s quite absurd. But it’s weird and funny and entertaining and kind of a Sam Raimi classic? Don’t skip this one. They figured out the tone they were trying to set with this and really stuck the landing.
