Evil Dead Rise (2023)★★★★☆

I was on the fence on how to rate this one, but ultimately decided on four stars over three because it was pretty entertaining. This one is maybe the least comedic of the Evil Dead movies? And yet also somehow still absurd?

There’s…a lot of blood and gore in this one. There’s not a lot of plot. There’s a lot of (spoilers??) death.

Okay, honestly, I don’t know what to say about this one. I went in expecting something more like the 2013 Evil Dead and this is NOT like that, but…it’s still really watchable?
