Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988)★★★☆☆

I guess I can see what this movie was going for, but I didn’t find it super entertaining.

It’s more Jason, plus more supernatural stuff? I don’t know, it barely made sense.

It drags on at times, much like this series overall, and I can’t say I’m sad to be coming to an end to these movies soon. I really feel like they’re becoming parodies of themselves with this movie, and it’s not easy for me to tell whether or not that’s on purpose?

Also, what’s with the timeline on these movies? I feel like there were “several years” between parts 3 and 4, and another several years between the beginning of this movie and the bulk of it, and yet…we’re still solidly in the 1980s.

Anyway, this one is pretty skippable.
