Leatherface (2017)★★★☆☆

So…this movie is also fine? Again, I don’t really think it adds much to the story. Not for lack of trying, though?

So this movie is basically just a 1950s Bonnie and Clyde kind of story that ends with someone “becoming” Leatherface.

And it felt like a Bonnie and Clyde movie? Far more than a Texas Chainsaw Massacre story, anyway.

I like Stephen Dorff. I like Lili Taylor! And everyone else was fine! So this movie was mostly fine, but it wasn’t really scary, and it didn’t really feel like Leatherface.
