Midnighters (2018)★★★☆☆

It’s New Year’s Eve, everyone! The last day and my last movie of the year. I don’t know whether to find it fitting or disappointing that I mostly think this movie is fine.

I really like Alex Essoe, and I don’t mind noir thrillers, but this one was a bit too slow for my taste, and the creepy factor wasn’t quite creepy enough.

In title and in timing, it’s fitting and festive, but it’s a mostly forgettable film overall.
