Monstrous (2022)★★★★☆

Have I already mentioned how much I love Christina Ricci? Because I LOVE Christina Ricci. (EVEN MORE than I have since forever now that she is also in Yellowjackets!)

And this movie is pretty much all Christina Ricci. So it’s hard for me not to like it.

This is the kind of movie where it’s clear something is…off…from the beginning. And then it becomes more clear, and less clear, and a little bit more clear again?

This movie is hard to say much else about without spoiling it. It’s short, it’s pretty, it’s mostly interesting. It’s not too scary or gory. I don’t know, I think you could do worse than watching this movie on a weekend afternoon!
