Pet Sematary (2019)★★★☆☆

I’m going to try to avoid the “F” word here, but I liked this one about as much as yesterday’s. It’s about the same length, the same pacing, and (mostly) the same story.

I’ll try not to spoil too much here. There were some changes from the original film adaptation (and the novel), some of which worked better than others. I like John Lithgow, but I kind of missed Fred Gwynne.

And while the accident scene was minimal and well-done in the original, it felt kind of…Michael Bay?? in this version. But, y’know, overall it was f…not a terrible movie!
