Pyewacket (2017)★★★☆☆

This movie had some interesting bits to it, and I thought the performances were great, but it was a bit too slow for me overall.

I think it’s also pretty Canadian…a few familiar faces from Degrassi: The Next Generation, and Laurie Holden, whom I know best from the Silent Hill movie (the 2006 one) and The Mist.

There’s a creepy vibe overall, and definitely some scary moments. I do think the ending kind of pulls itself together, even if it’s a bit obvious.

This would be a GREAT movie if it had the pacing right, but as it is it’s mostly okay.
