Re-Animator (1985)★★★☆☆

Well, I have now finally seen this movie. And it was…okay. I can see why it’s a cult favorite, but I wasn’t terribly impressed.

I do love Jeffrey Combs! And Barbara Crampton! And it was an interesting story, with some epic and epically hilarious moments!

But it’s more surreal and absurd than scary, and it has some weird pacing issues that make the ending feel rushed.

But (spoiler alert) you do see boobies, so…take that and make of it what you will.
