Silent Night (2021)★★★☆☆

It’s Christmas Eve! I should have picked something a little scarier or a little more relevant, but I started this and was too lazy to swap it out for something else, so we’re all stuck with this.

It’s not very scary. It’s a pre-apocalyptic British black comedy more than anything else, and it seems very British to me. It’s slow, the humor hinges on a group of friends and family who basically despise each other, and they’re all waiting for the end of the world.

This is not my favorite Christmas movie with Keira Knightley, and I am definitely not Love Actually’s greatest fan. Everyone is good in this, but the movie itself isn’t all that entertaining. I hope everyone has a lovely holiday. Only a few more movies left to go this year!
