Spell (2020)★★☆☆☆

I don’t have too much to say about this movie, but I didn’t like it very much.

Loretta Devine and Omari Hardwick were fine (everyone was mostly fine), but the movie was too slow (again with the short & slow movies!!) and too predictable.

Also, the characters weren’t particularly likable. I wasn’t exactly rooting for Marquis to get back to his family? I mean, I wasn’t actively rooting against them, but still.

Honestly, I’ve seen this movie done better and this story told better before.
