Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight (1995)★★★★☆

I know this isn’t a good movie, but I think I’m feeling particularly nostalgic this week. And Tales from the Crypt is definitely hugely nostalgic for me.

Despite the lack of scares and incredibly silly plot, this is a fun movie. With so many familiar faces! It’s been a while since I’ve seen CCH Pounder in anything!

Billy Zane and William Sadler are great. Jada Pinkett (pre-Smith) was also pretty good (and this is the second thing I’ve seen her in this year!).

As mentioned, there’s no real scares here, but there are definitely some laughs (intentional or otherwise) and some very 1995 special effects. And it’s not too long.

If you’re a fan of Tales from the Crypt in general, you’ll probably have fun with this one, too.
