The Good Neighbor (2016)★★★★☆

I’m still pretty tired, and there’s a lot to process after watching this movie, so this will likely also be brief.

This movie definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. In a good way.

It was haunting (though not in the way you’d think) and terrifying (though not in the way you’d think) and really really interesting (probably just in the way you’d think).

James Caan is fantastic, Logan Miller and Keir Gilchrist are also great, and all of the other familiar faces in the supporting cast were just as wonderful.

I’d highly recommend this movie pretty broadly…but I will say that it’s not the happiest of movies, so watch it wisely. Y’know, like not on a first date.
