The Nun (2018)★★☆☆☆

I’m always so sad when a movie with a bunch of people I like is awful. (I mean, Dead Awake was obviously the WORST example of this, and this wasn’t THAT bad, at least?)

And I guess this wasn’t THE MOST awful, but it was boring and hard to get through. I liked The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 okay! I really love Taissa Farmiga! You’d think I’d at least have respected the gothic horror in this, and yet…

Honestly it was hard to get through even at 1.5x speed, which is saying something. I’m watching the sequel tomorrow. I hope it’s better? I hope I’m not just in an impatient and irritable mood??
