The Poughkeepsie Tapes (2007)★★☆☆☆

Ugh, really, this is just a mostly bad month for me. You would think it would be easier to get through a movie that’s less than an hour and a half long, and yet…

Honestly, I can see what this movie was going for, but I don’t think it succeeds. Found footage where half of it is talking heads is risky, and in this case it ended up a bit (okay, a LOT) boring.

Were there some scary individual scenes? Sure! But the VHS graininess and artifacts were more distracting than immersive, the killer himself was pretty boring, and I just couldn’t get into this movie.

I’d skip this one if I were you.
