The Unseen (1980)★★☆☆☆

This movie was…not what I expected. And not in a great way. More in a “WTF did I just watch” kind of way.

Also, I feel kind of weird writing too much about it myself. If you’re interested, I suggest reading the plot summary on Wikipedia instead of watching the film?

The performances are good, there’s some creepy parts, but this is not a movie that would get made in 2024, and I think that’s for the best. I feel kind of slimy having just finished it. I don’t know what the director wanted this movie to be, but I can understand the impulse to want to be credited under a pseudonym after seeing the finished product.
