They/Them (2022)★★★☆☆

I so badly wanted to like this movie way more than I did. It has such a clever name! I love the idea of it! Even the performances are pretty good! But something about the execution here just isn’t it.

The reveal makes very little sense and feels very out of place with the rest of the story. The kills are kind of boring and not very scary. And, (spoiler alert), they kill the dog.

I feel like there could have been more here than there was. I liked all the campers. I liked the set up. But then it kind of lost me for most of the movie, and it definitely didn’t stick its landing.
