Walled In (2009)★★★☆☆
I might have a thing for Mischa Barton. It’s weird, though, because I’m not sure she’s a great actress. She seems to get cast as the somewhat spoiled, mildly haunted teenager/young adult in everything she’s ever done. I guess she pulls that off pretty well, though.
Cameron Bright, on the other hand, is a pretty great actor. Especially for someone so young. He’s been in several things and I’ve always been really impressed.
So the cast was fine here, and the background music was well done, but this movie just didn’t land quite right. It drags on at points and the story, while interesting, doesn’t really go anywhere. There are a lot more unanswered questions at the end than I’d like and I’m not even sure what exactly happened at the end.
But it’s an okay film and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for something creepy but easy to watch.
