Blade (1998)★★★★★

Okay, this is another highly nostalgia-driven rating, but I’d be lying to myself if I didn’t give it five stars.

It’s a little long at times, and it’s not very scary, but it’s such a classic. So many great lines! Who can forget “There are worse things out tonight than vampires.” “Like what?” “Like me.”

And for a 25-year-old film, surprisingly little feels dated. Okay, okay, the CGI effects are a little (…a lot) dated, but that just adds to the charm for me.

Plus I had the biggest crush on Stephen Dorff when I was younger!
