Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022)★★☆☆☆

Ugh. I wanted to like this one so much more. Seriously, a movie with cute girls getting high and making out, AND Pete Davidson? How could it not at least be fun!

I don’t really have the answer to “how”, but I did not at least find this movie fun. I found it extremely boring. Maybe I’m too old for this movie? It felt pretty solidly “Gen Z” the whole way through.

Look, the acting is fine, though no one is particularly likeable (Bee was my favorite, but not without problems of her own). There’s a bunch of “young co-ed” angsty drama that I think they’re using to try to build up the tension early on? It doesn’t really work for me.

I don’t know, I’m running out of things to say. It’s flashy and pretty and has Pete Davidson and Lee Pace and lots of cute girls. And it’s boring.

I think the only good scene is the one where someone goes over the railing. And maybe the reveal of what happened to David. But I’m not sure either of those scenes are worth watching the whole movie. Maybe as background noise?
