I was on the fence about giving this one a full five stars, but I figure if I can give Disturbing Behavior five stars, I can give this five stars, too. It was FUN.
Read more...Wow, people really do NOT like this movie. Like, it has an 8% on Rotten Tomatoes with over 1000 reviews.
Actually, I think this review by Shaun Munro says it best: “This virtually tension-free, depressingly bland horror flick is tough to recommend to anyone but the most undemanding horror fans looking for something gentle to stream on a hungover Sunday afternoon.”
Read more...Look, I’m really sorry that so many of my reviews for this year are pure nostalgia. This probably isn’t really a five-star movie, but I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I love everything about it.
Read more...Okay, I know this is a bad movie. No one liked it! Bret Easton Ellis AND Mila Kunis have both denounced this film. In fact, it wasn’t originally penned as a sequel at all, just a standalone film, and I imagine people would’ve received it better if that’s how it ended up.
Read more...I have always had a soft spot for American Psycho, both the book and this film. I’m fairly confident I read the book before the movie came out (unlike Fight Club, where I didn’t even know the name Chuck Palahniuk before the movie came out, and then I read the book…and yeah, I realize this is essentially a non sequitur…).

Read more...I don’t remember how or where I heard about this movie, but I did. A few IMDB reviews relate it to American Psycho - one even calling it the BETTER American Psycho! I wouldn’t go that far, but I can understand the comparison. And also I’m adding American Psycho to the calendar…
Read more...Y’know, I tried reeeeeeeally hard to avoid it, but this movie is fine. It’s just fine.
Read more...I don’t know how to say this nicely, and I don’t really know why this was my first impression, but this movie had no right to be as good as it was?
Read more...I struggled on rating this one. It’s weird, like two different movies in one. The first hour of this movie is SO SLOW AND BORING, and the last half hour is like rapid-fire screams and thrills.
Read more...Okay, I feel like this movie was better the first time I watched it? And yeah, there’s some of that “well, obviously” because I already know most of the answers this second time around, but… I don’t think that’s all.
Read more...Well, I have now finally seen this movie. And it was…okay. I can see why it’s a cult favorite, but I wasn’t terribly impressed.
