Paranormal Activity 3 (2011)★★★★☆

So far, this is definitely my favorite of the franchise. Maybe it’s because Katie and Kristi are much more likable (or relatable?) as kids.

Maybe it’s because the dialogue was way better in this one.Maybe it’s because invisible childhood friends are so interesting to me. Or maybe it’s just because this one was really creepy. Because it definitely was.

Whatever the reason(s), I liked this one. It’s mostly a prequel to the first two set in 1988. I think the next film is the first real sequel. That is, the first sequel depicting anything that happened after the events of the first movie.

Sort of looking forward to that, I suppose? I’m pretty sure they finally get rid of the VHS footage format for it and I’m definitely looking forward to that.
