Sissy (2022)★★★★★

I was on the fence about giving this one a full five stars, but I figure if I can give Disturbing Behavior five stars, I can give this five stars, too. It was FUN.

It was ridiculous, and gory, and so brightly colored, and it was a lot of fun.

I wouldn’t say it’s scary in the traditional horror movie sense, but…no, maybe I will say that. Terrifying as in, “yeah, maybe this could happen,” versus edge-of-your-seat tension, I suppose.

This would be a very easy movie to spoil, and I’d hate to ruin a good thing for anyone, so I don’t want to say much more. But if you’ve ever had a falling out with a friend, or ever been the daily “I am enough” mantra kind of person, maybe this movie’s for you.

Umm, but maybe only if you’re also okay with a LOT of blood, guts, and gore.
