The Deaths of Ian Stone (2007)★★★★☆
I like this one. I think there are a lot of underrated good ones in the 8 Films to Die For collections, and this is definitely one of them.
It’s interesting how sympathetic a character Ian Stone is with the minimal character development you actually get out of this film.
The dialogue is shaky, the special effects a bit over-the-top at times, and the underlying love story way cloying….but I like this one. Call it my feel-good horror movie for the month, maybe.
Anyway, I’m a bit tired tonight so I don’t have much else to add except…(spoiler ahead) what was up with the Fabio style hair Ian as Harvester had? That was hilarious.
