They Live (1988)★★★★☆

I decided to watch this one tonight because…well, because it seemed fitting.

It’s John Carpenter, so it’s pretty well paced and dotted with the type of grim humor only he can write.

It’s not a good movie per se, but it’s a cult classic and maybe more relevant now than when it came out 28 years ago.

Also it’s the same age as my little brother who just got engaged so I can say I watched it in his honor or something.

Oh yeah, and Keith David.
